SASSA SRD R370 Payment Dates 2026: Month-by-Month Schedule
SASSA pays the SRD R370 grant late in each month, and it confirms the exact dates only a few days before. As of 6 October 2026, SASSA has not yet announced the October dates.

SASSA made no payments on 24 September because it was Heritage Day, a public holiday.
What to expect from October to December: SASSA has followed the same pattern all year, so expect payments in the last ten days of each month. Do not rely on a date until SASSA confirms it.
How to find your own SRD pay date
The dates above are for the whole country. Your own pay date shows on your status page. Our SASSA status check guide explains each step.
- Go to srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status.
- Enter your ID number and the cellphone number you applied with.
- Tap Submit.
- Find the month marked Approved.
- Read the pay date next to it.
Is there no pay date yet? That is normal early in the month. SASSA adds pay dates after it finishes its monthly checks.

When will the money reach you?

You do not have to withdraw on the first day. Once SASSA has paid you, the money stays in your account until you need it.
Why is my SRD payment late?
- Your month is still pending. There is no pay date until SASSA approves that month.
- Your bank details are not verified. The account must be in your own name.
- You changed your banking details recently. SASSA has to verify the new account first.
- A public holiday or weekend fell in the payment period. SASSA does not pay on those days.
- You were declined for that month. Check the reason, and appeal if it is wrong.
Has your pay date passed by more than seven working days? Call 0800 60 10 11 and ask SASSA to trace the payment.
Payment dates for other SASSA grants
The Older Persons, Disability and children’s grants do not follow the SRD schedule. SASSA pays them in the first week of each month.

- Older Persons Grant: R2,400 a month, or R2,420 if you are 75 or older
- Disability Grant: R2,400 a month

Frequently asked questions
What date is the SRD R370 paid in October 2026?
SASSA had not announced the October dates by 6 October 2026. Based on the rest of the year, expect payments in the last ten days of the month.
Is the SRD grant paid on the same day as other grants?
No. Other grants are paid in the first week of the month. The SRD grant is paid late in the month.
Are R350 and R370 payment dates different?
No. The R350 grant became the R370 grant in April 2024. There is only one payment schedule.
Can I get my payment earlier?
No. SASSA pays everyone in batches on the dates it announces. Nobody can move you to an earlier batch, and anyone who offers to do so for a fee is a scammer.
Will the SRD grant be paid in 2027?
The grant is funded until 31 March 2027. Government has not yet confirmed what happens after that date.
